A Game Winner

Sometimes I look at my kids and wonder and pray if everything will be ok for them. The highs and lows associated with growing up are to those of us who remember the “lows” nervewracking and frightening. Sorry to disappoint but I too have fears and worries. I try to use them for strength but that’s always a battle and struggle. When I watch my kids play sports, I pray that will experience and feel confidence and pride. Where do guys like Jeter it get?

My son, Harley, plays baseball. And soccer. Last night, he hit the gamewinning RBI–a walkoff RBI! The team screamed his name. The parents yelled and chanted. They were clapping for him! I hope he let it sink in, those feelings don’t come often enough. When you get them, hang onto them, enjoy them. Roll in them…love them.

I love my kids. I love when they are happy. They were happy last night. BH
